On May 8, 2023, the European Commission published the amendment (EU) 2023/923 in its official gazette, in order to revise the restrictions on lead and lead compounds in Article 63 of Appendix XVII of REACH Regulation (EC) No.1907/2006, and to increase the restrictions on lead in polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
