On April 18th, 2023, the European Commission officially issued the new regulation (EU) 2023/826 on standby power consumption of ErP(Energy-Related Products) to reduce the energy consumption of electrical equipment in "off" or "standby" mode. At the same time, the ecological design directive (EC) No.1275/2008 for household and office electrical and electronic equipment and the ecological design directive (EC) No.107/2009 for simple set-top boxes were abolished.
