Introduction to TELEC certification
TELEC certification is also called MIC certification. TELEC (Telecom Engineering Center) is the main registered certification body for conformity certification of radio equipment in Japan, MIC (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) is the government agency that regulates radio frequency equipment in Japan, and MIC is the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan, responsible for compiling regulations and standards. TELEC is only one of the designated issuing agencies for MIC, so it is called TELEC certification or MIC certification.
TELEC certification type
1. Test Certification
Test certification is to verify each equipment unit, and the certification is only valid for each verified equipment unit.
2. Type Certification
Type certification refers to the verification of samples of a batch of equipment of the same design and manufacture. The certification is valid for the batch of equipment, but if the design or manufacturing of the equipment is changed, the equipment will need to be re-certified.
TELEC certification process
1. Submit an application
2. Sign the quotation and fill in the certification application form
3. Provide samples and provide technical information, pay the first payment
4. The laboratory starts testing after receiving the samples
5. After the test is OK, issue a report
6. Submit report to TELEC organization to apply for TELEC certificate
7. The customer pays the balance
8. TELEC certificate (also called MIC certificate) will be issued after the case is over
