Recently, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) launched a public review on two persistent organic pollutants (POPs) on its official website. The two substances reviewed this time are 2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl). )-4,6-Di-tert-Amylphenol (UV-328) and Methoxychlor. The public comment will end on July 13, 2021, during which all stakeholders can submit comments to ECHA.

The two new substances are as follows:
