Notice! EU SVHC candidate substance list has increased to 224 items

On June 10, 2022, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) included the 27th batch of Item 1 review substances (N-Methylolacrylamide, CAS No. 924-42-5) into the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) , So far, the SVHC candidate list has been officially updated to 224 items.

The information on the new substances is as follows:

REACH regulations stipulate that when the SVHC content in the article is greater than 0.1%, information must be transmitted in the supply chain; when the SVHC content in the article is greater than 0.1% and the annual export volume is greater than 1 ton, it must be notified to ECHA.

According to the EU's Waste Framework Directive, from January 5, 2021, suppliers placing items with a SVHC content of more than 0.1% on the EU market should submit relevant information on the items to ECHA through the SCIP database.
