Project Introduction
The waterproof test is applicable to electrical and electronic products that may be subjected to flushing during transportation, storage or use. This water comes from heavy rain, wind and rain, sprinkler systems, wheel splashes, flushing or violent waves. The relevant specifications should specify whether the electrical and electronic products must work normally during the test, or whether they can only withstand the flushing conditions and remain intact.
For portable, outdoor and automotive electronics, there are waterproof test requirements, whether it is IEC, MIL or ETSI and SAE in the world have developed corresponding test requirements.
waterproof level
IEC/EN60529 waterproof is divided into 9 levels (level 0 ~ level 8), waterproof level (e.g.IPX4-waterproof level 4):
Level 0: Completely waterproof and unprotected
Level 1: Water dripping vertically should have no harmful effects
Level 2: When the vertical surface of the shell is inclined within 15°, the vertical dripping should have no harmful effects
Level 3: Water is sprayed within 60° of each vertical plane without harmful effects
Level 4: Splashing water in all directions of the housing without harmful effects
Level 5: No harmful effects by spraying water in all directions
Level 6: Strong water spray in all directions of the shell without harmful effects
Level 7: After being immersed in water of specified pressure for a specified period of time, the amount of water in the shell will not reach harmful levels
Level 8: According to the conditions agreed by the manufacturer and the user (should be harsher than Level 7), the water intake of the shell after continuous diving will not reach harmful levels
ANATEL certification is a mandatory certification for telecommunications equipment or related equipment by the Brazilian National Telecommunications Administration (Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações), including wireless communication equipment, wired communication equipment and related auxiliary equipment; this certification ensures that telecommunications equipment sold in the Brazilian market meets Brazil\'s technical standards and regulatory requirements, and guarantees the product\'s quality requirements such as radio frequency, electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and electromagnetic exposure. If the product entering Brazil does not complete ANATEL certification, it may face fines, seizures, and other penalties.
COC certification in Algeria is a mandatory certification for products exported to Algeria, ensuring that the products comply with the country\'s safety, quality, and technical standards. The certification process includes document review, product testing, and factory inspection. Products that pass certification can be legally sold in the local market, protecting consumer interests and promoting fair trade.
GCC certification is the abbreviation for Gulf Cooperation Council certification, which is a mandatory certification requirement for products entering the market in Saudi Arabia and other countries in the Gulf region.
