Documents to be submitted for KC certification
If an enterprise needs to apply for the KC mark, it must first apply to the Korea Testing Certification (KTC) or the Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) or the Korea Testing & Research Institute (Korea Testing & Research Institute, KTR) apply. If a product is produced by several independent factories, even though the products are of the same model, several factories should obtain the certification mark at the same time. Overseas manufacturers can apply directly or authorize local agencies and representative manufacturers in Korea to apply.

1. Application for safety certification of electrical appliances (compulsory product);
2. Application for self-regulatory safety confirmation of electrical appliances and declaration of self-regulatory safety confirmation of electrical appliances (self-regulatory products);
(1) A list of parts and components that directly affect safety;
(2) Electrical wiring diagram;
(3) Detailed specifications of transformers (for related products);
(4) Insulating material catalog (temperature, pressure resistance or flame resistance grade, etc.);
(5) Product certificate (including Korean product certificate);
(6) Label;
(7) The agent's authorization certificate (required for compulsory products; required for self-regulated products by the agent);
(8) Questionnaire survey (mandatory product).
