In recent years, safety accidents caused by explosions of lithium batteries are not uncommon. You can often see safety accidents caused by overcharge explosions of lithium batteries during charging of mobile phones or explosions and fires of lithium batteries in battery cars on the news. These are the most common products that require lithium batteries in our daily lives. The safety issues of lithium batteries behind these accidents are more reflective.
As a national certification body, China CQC certification can be recognized internationally in terms of certification. Although CQC is not a mandatory product safety certification, CQC certification is still required for lithium batteries. Especially when products are exported to foreign markets, CQC certification can provide considerable protection for product exports. Many foreign companies recognize China's CQC certification. Some companies need to look at the product's CQC certification when purchasing products. Applying for CQC certification can bring more market space for products.
Each country has its own lithium battery safety certification standards, and China’s CQC certification is no exception. The following is the process for lithium batteries to apply for CQC certification:
The CQC certification process for products can be divided into five steps:
1. Certification application:
The company submits a product application form to a third-party testing and certification agency or CQC certification official website, where detailed product information such as product electrical schematics, product instructions, product information sheets, etc. are required. For specific information, please consult the sales engineer who handles testing and certification for enterprise products.
2. Product testing:
The enterprise pays the test deposit, and the third-party testing and certification agency accepts the test application. The company needs to provide 2-3 valid product samples. If the third-party testing and certification agency fails to pass the test, the company shall rectify the product until the product meets the CQC certification standard.
3. Factory inspection:
The factory is the guarantee of product safety and needs to be kept clean and tidy. CQC factory audit personnel will verify the relevant information of the company, which is mainly divided into information review and quality review.
4. Issuing certificates:
The company has passed the audit and obtained the corresponding CQC certification. It should be noted here that the certificate query is best to query on the official website of the issuing authority. For example, please check on the ZRLK official website for the issuance of ZRLK. On the CQC official website, you can only check whether the product has passed the certification, but not the relevant certification information.
5. Annual factory inspection:
CQC certification will supervise and inspect the factory once a year. If the inspection fails, the company will be punished accordingly.
If you have lithium battery CQC certification requirements, you can call ZRLK for detailed inquiries about related businesses. Our company will provide you with a full range of technical services such as testing, certification, identification, technical consultation, and solutions based on your specific products. Enterprises in need are welcome to inquire.
