Introduction to KC certification:
The Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) of South Korea announced on August 25, 2008 that the National Standards Committee will implement a new national unified certification mark called "KC Mark" from July 2009 to December 2010. The new logo is called KC Mark, which stands for Korea Certification. The current 13 mandatory signs will eventually be unified under this new sign. One result of this initiative is to reduce the supplier's expenditure on certification, making Korea KC Mark gradually become a world brand certification. But there is a shortcoming. The KCC logo that has just been issued recently will only be implemented for a few years, and will eventually be unified under this new KC logo.
According to a person in charge of a power supply and lighting company in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea: "At present, many products of large power supply and lighting companies are imported from China, which undoubtedly has a big impact on small and medium-sized enterprises." The majority of Korean consumers tend to buy Wumart Low-cost household items, so many large power supply and lighting companies in South Korea began to focus on the market strategy of selling more Chinese products, which is conducive to Chinese power supply and lighting manufacturers to quickly find Korean partners and jointly open the Korean market. Moreover, China is close to South Korea and has a convenient geographical advantage, which can quickly supply power and lighting products. The prerequisite for entering the Korean market must be Korean mandatory certification-KC certification.
