TWS earphones do not have traditional physical wires. The left and right earphones form a stereo system through Bluetooth. The mobile phone can be connected to one receiving end. This receiving end will divide the stereo into another receiving end through wireless transmission to form a stereo system. TWS earphones are widely loved by people once they come out with the product's novel design, complete and rich functions, and convenient and quick operation. The future market development potential will also be huge. However, if TWS headsets want to enter the EU market, they need to apply for CE-RED certification.

What is CE-RED certification?

The 1999/5/EC directive has been implemented for many years, and existing products cannot be satisfied in many places. On May 22, 2014, the European Union officially announced a new version of the wireless equipment directive RED 2014/53/EU. This directive is based on the European Union’s new CE framework resolution 768/2008/EC. RED 2014/53/EU replaces the original The European Union Radio Equipment Directive R&TTE-D 1999/5/EC. For wireless products sold in the EU market, EU member states will adopt the New Radio Equipment Directive (RED) from June 13, 2016; wireless products that comply with the old R&RTTE Directive will be prohibited from being sold on the EU market.
