Wireless equipment EMC testing and handling——ZRLK

Author:中认联科 time:2021-06-10 Ctr:1143

With the continuous development of technology, many electronic devices are gradually moving towards wireless. However, for product quality and safety considerations, these wireless devices generally need to undergo EMC testing before entering the market.

What is EMC testing?

EMC testing is also called electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The full name is Electro Magnetic Compatibility, which refers to the comprehensive evaluation of the electromagnetic field interference (EMI) and anti-interference ability (EMS) of electronic products. It is one of the important indicators of product quality. The measurement of electromagnetic compatibility consists of a test site and a test instrument. The purpose of EMC testing is to detect the influence of electromagnetic radiation generated by electrical products on the human body, the public power grid and other electrical products that work normally.

EMC is a very important quality index. It is not only related to the working reliability and safety of the product itself, but also may affect the normal operation of other equipment and systems, and is related to the protection of the electromagnetic environment. The European Community government stipulates that from January 1, 1996, all electrical and electronic products must pass EMC certification and be affixed with the CE mark before they can be sold on the European Community market.
