FCC certification application precautions

✦ During the transition period, the annex "447498 D04 Interim General Radio Frequency Exposure Guidelines v01" is available for device authorization and must be used in its entirety with any other relevant revised KDB RF exposure procedures and policies, including FCC-TCB meeting presentations.

✦ For relevant authorization applications submitted on or before June 30, 2022, the previous version "447498 D01 General Radio Frequency Exposure Guidelines v06" may also be used during the transition period. However, "447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidelines v06" must be used in its entirety (ie, old and new versions must not be mixed when submitting a certification application).

✦ After June 30, 2022, all applications can only use the new procedure, namely "KDB 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v07"; the new version is based on and replaces "KDB 447498 General RF Exposure Guidance v06".

✦ If the accreditation application includes a pre-approved guideline item (KDB 388624) submitted before July 1, 2022, the TCB may, as an exception, after the PAG approval, can still use "447498 D01" after the June 30, 2022 deadline General RF Exposure Guidelines v06" to apply.

✦ During the transition period, both versions v06 and v07 can be used. ZRLK recommends customers to use the new version v07 for product certification.
