Applicable area

Factory inspection

MET-certified factory inspections are conducted twice a year except for products used in hazardous environments. Products used in hazardous environments are indicated in the MET report, and the corresponding factory inspection is 4 times per year. Since March 2009, at the request of the relevant US government departments, all new Chinese factories applying for certification will be changed to 4 inspections in the first year, and thereafter 2 inspections each year.
