In 1999, the Chinese government set a special frequency range for different types of radio transmission equipment, and not all frequencies were legally used in China. That is, all radio transmission equipment sold or used in China will specify different frequencies. In addition, applicants must pay attention to the specified scope of certain radio transmission equipment, not only to apply for "radio type approval certification", but also to apply for China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and / or Network Access License (MII) approval.

That is, SRRC certification (also known as SRMC certification) can be understood as radio type approval certification.

According to the latest policy, the SRRC certification implements a no-charge standard. After the product passes the test, the SRRC certificate can be obtained after passing the review. If the test result fails, the test fee needs to be paid. Once the sample test result is unqualified, you need to re-apply: the enterprise submits a model certification application-officially accepted by the national institution-the enterprise pays a deposit to the designated testing agency-product testing. In this way, the certification cycle will be severely lengthened, affecting the product's listing.

Simply put, although the new policy application is free, the application cycle cannot be guaranteed as before. Entrusted testing and certification agencies spend entrusted service fees to help customers get the SRRC certificate in the least amount of time.

The products have different emission frequencies and different detection contents. The main detection items are: power, spectrum range, frequency tolerance, bandwidth, spurious radiation, etc.

· There will be market supervision and random inspection, no factory inspection

· From December 4, 2018 to January 31, 2019, at the stage of self-inspection (if you do not have the type approval certificate, you can apply for it at the corresponding testing agency)

· From February 1, 2019 to March 31, 2019, the first round of spot checks. (Unqualified commodities will go off the counter, and you can apply for the counter if you have the qualification).
